Big data, Business intelligence, business analytics, data mining…buzzwords abound in the Higher Education data analysis sphere in recent years. What do these buzzwords mean, and how can we distinguish these terms? As campus leaders in utilizing data effectively, it is crucial that IR professionals understand the concepts, strategies, and implementation issues surrounding data analytics projects, particularly when the cost of implementation can easily reach into the 6-figure realm. Join us for a panel discussion focusing on issues relevant to all career levels of IR and how to make your voice heard as your campus goes through the process of identifying and implementing solutions to better use the growing amount of data we have available.
